Check out this week’s featured pencil, Harriete Estel Berman. The scale of this sculpture is AMAZING.
Do you like balloons? Do you like animals? Do you happen to love balloon animals?? Because we do!
In this picture one of the Dragon Con guests was able to create interesting balloon animals, swords, and hats for all the guests we had during this panel time.
It certainly brought out the kids in all of us—even the adults!
One of the things the Kaleidoscope Track likes to highlight is the talents of our biggest supporters: the kids!
During Dragon Con 2011 we were able to have a whole panel’s time to hold a Kt Idol, and might I say we had a lot of great talent that was not only original but also natural.
This picture shows one of the contestants going a gymnastics routine.
Looking back through some of our highlights of the 2011 Dragon Con, we managed to dust off a photo of Mr. Ernest Borgnine to whom we were able to interview!
For the older crowd you might remember him from the old television series McHale’s Navy or the series Airwolf. However, for our track, to which is geared for the younger audiences, Borgnine was most commonly known by his voicing for the character Mermaid Man fromt he television series Spongebob Squarepants.
I remember when Borgnine entered the room in this particular picture because we had at least three minutes of solid applause for the actor’s work and dedication to the television screens. His work and humor has touched us all, and the Kaleidoscope staffers deeply value his talent with respect from the bottom of our hearts!
The interview went amazing, and there wasn’t a dull moment that plagued the room. If you somehow manage to catch wind of this Mr. Borgnine, thank you for being able to share your time with us.
